What Conditions Are Suitable for Outpatient Care
People who can still maintain basic daily life, have mild withdrawal symptoms, and need initial assessment and treatment planning can start with outpatient care. If severe hand tremors, hallucinations, or a history of seizures are present, safety assessment should be prioritized, and hospitalization may be recommended.
Which Department to Visit
Follow the hospital's same-day triage. If unsure, call ahead to explain your drinking history and symptoms, and staff will direct you to the appropriate clinic or assessment entry point, avoiding delays from guessing the wrong department.
What to Bring on the First Visit
ID card, previous test reports, medication list, and family accompaniment (if possible). Ask in advance about the cost breakdown and whether same-day tests are needed.
